I'm 25 years old and I'm losing my hair. Is this normal?

Our experts answer your most frequently asked questions.

We lose hair on a daily basis. Hair has its own life cycle. 10 to 15% of a head of hair is estimated to be in the falling phase (telogen phase). It is therefore normal to lose a certain amount of hair every day (around 50 strands per day).

More noticeable hair loss can occur without it being linked to a pathology. This hair loss can be caused by the change of seasons, childbirth, fatigue, etc.

Nonetheless, when in doubt, consult a dermatologist, who will recommend a treatment adapted to your case, if necessary.
