¹Result of a clinical study conducted on 33 adults from 19-70 years old with mild to moderate atopic eyelids. DEXYANE MeD Palpebral was applied twice a day to the eyelids for 22 days. The clinical severity score (including itching, burning, tightness, etc.) from 0 to 9, immediately after 3 days of application, was compared to the pre-application scores. Immediately, the itching score significantly decreased, and the burning score improved by day 3. The overall development of lesions was evaluated by the PGA score on a 5-point scale : 0 (aggravation) to 4 (completely healed); after 3 days of application, the majority of patients felt an improvement. IN THE WORDS OF A DERMATOLOGIST

All about atopic-prone skin

Eczema is a common skin condition that can affect babies, children and adults alike. It is characterised by the appearance of skin lesions (red patches, blisters and scabs), developing by very dry skin and flare-ups. Pain and itching that is at times, intense, can have a significant impact on the daily life of those who suffer from eczema.

Eyelid eczema: The thinness of the skin on the eyelids makes it an area frequently affected by eczema as it is easier for irritants and allergens to penetrate. It affects women more than men. It's mainly caused by allergens, by direct contact (application of cosmetics, eye drops, etc.) from the hands (nail varnish, etc.) or through the air (sprays, perfumes, etc.) It can also caused by irritants (irritatant products, caustic agents, etc.) or atopic.
Eyelid eczema affects self-image and is all the more difficult for women when it causes problems with make-up.
