The INCI composition of my usual product has changed, what does this mean?

“The INCI composition of my usual product has changed, does this mean the formula has changed?”
#WeExplainEverything
What’s an INCI list?
The INCI list (International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients) shows all the ingredients contained in a cosmetic formula. Its presence is mandatory on cosmetic products and/or packaging.

Has the formula of my usual product changed?
If there’s no wording on the product indicating that the formula has been changed, and if the brand has not announced a change, then the formula of your product is still the same.

If, despite this, you notice a difference in the INCI list of your usual DUCRAY product, it’s because it has become more precise; legislation requires that we detail the composition of all the raw materials in the formula. We therefore update these lists constantly to include changes to the names of raw materials (information provided by our raw material suppliers).

If you use ICTYANE cream, its formula has not changed, its composition is simply more detailed.
