How can you recognize oily hair?

Oily hair is darker with a dull appearance. It loses its natural shine and becomes darker, almost as if it were wet. Sebum makes the hair heavier by sticking each individual hair to other hairs, forming thick strands. The hair glistens, and appears heavy.
