      All about oily hair

      Affecting nearly 40% of the population, an oily scalp is caused by a disruption of the sebaceous glands, which secrete sebum (a natural oily substance that ensures hair lubrication and protection against external aggressions). This imbalance results in shiny, heavy, and difficult-to-style hair. Sebum secretion is influenced by androgenic hormones such as testosterone. Hyperseborrhea is often of genetic origin, but other factors can amplify it (stress, pollution, etc.). Specific hair care products, tailored to this type of hair, contain active ingredients capable of normalizing excessive sebum production.
