      Dry dandruff is a common condition that is not serious, but can have an unsightly impact on your daily life. It can occur on all hair types. 
      The main cause is an imbalance in the skin flora of the scalp and the proliferation of a yeast that is naturally present on your skin. This yeast becomes irritating, weakens the skin barrier and provokes a defence reaction from your scalp. This leads to irritation and sometimes itching. The scalp then becomes sprinkled with fine, white, flaky-looking scales that spread to the shoulders and clothing. 
      Many external factors can contribute to their appearance but also to their recurrence, such as stress, lack of sleep, pollution or unsuitable hair products. 
      It is therefore important to adopt a rigorous care hygiene and to use suitable antifungal dandruff shampoos.
