Protect your skin properly against climatic stress

In winter, the cold accelerates the skin's dehydration.

The sebaceous glands in the dermis naturally secrete sebum. This forms a protective film on the skin's surface. Climatic stress (wind, cold etc.) reduces the activity of these sebaceous glands and the skin is not properly protected. The water in the skin's cells evaporates more easily. The skin thus becomes dehydrated. It feels tight and becomes uncomfortable.
